Our baluster and newel patterns were
designed to be used in a variety of applications. On most
designs we can alter the height of the squares or turned
area to suit your taste or assembly requirements. Balusters are available in any size you
want. You can choose from squaretop or pintop balusters, as shown in the photo.
The drawing below shows the proper method for assembling and spacing our balusters.
This table shows the narrowest point of the pattern. For baluster spacing, add the maxium space allowed by code (or desired) to the minimum diameter from the chart. That sum gives the center-to-center spacing. Take the rail length (in inches) and divide by the center-to-center spacing. Round up for the number of balusters required.
