PVC Craftsman Columns

You can dress up your square craftsman columns with a variety of pedestals. Two trim styles are available Standard and Prairie. Other options include raised or recessed panels.

Originally designed for PVC craftsman columns, these can be used to wrap other round or square columns, except for wood. Typically, the pedestal is 4 inches wider than the column. It's also best to be sure the top of the pedestal is wider than the base used with the column.

Square pedestals are available in two heights: 36" or 42". Standard nominal widths are: 8", 10", 12", 14", 16", 18", 20", 22", 24", 26", 28" and 30".

Pedestals with Standarrd Trim

This style has a top plate 1-inch thick that sets on top of the shaft, wrapped by the trim. The top plate is there to support the column shaft and has our standard cutout for a 4x4 load-bearing post. This cutout can be enlarged for wrapping larger support columns.

Pedestals with Prairie Trim

This style has a 1-inch thick top plate that is 4 inches wider than the pedestal shaft. It works well with columns that have wider bases. The top plate has our standard cutout for a 4x4 load-bearing post, which can be enlarged for wrapping larger load posts or columns.
