Balusters and Newels
Our baluster and newel patterns were
designed to be used in a variety of applications. On most
designs we can alter the height of the squares or turned
area to suit your taste or assembly requirements.
Balusters are available in any size you
want. You can choose from squaretop or pintop balusters, as shown in the photo. The examples that follow range from 1-5/8 to 5-1/2
inches square and from 20- to 36-inches tall. Newels shown
are 5-1/2 inches square and 48- or 53-inches tall.
Newels come with the newel caps shown
in the illustrations. However, you can specify a different newel
cap design, either from our designs or as a custom design. If you specify the top square height on newel
posts we can ease the top corners for you, making a nicer
transition from post to cap. Interested in custom design?
